What We Do
Choose.place started as a collection of geography games, because learning about the world shouldn't feel like homework. It still is: no flashcards, no tedious memorizing, just games that make you want to know where things are.
Knowing the map is only half of it, though. The other half is going. So the site has grown into a place for both: games for the curious, and travel guides, side by side comparisons and stories for the people who are about to pick their next trip. 197 countries, one map.

- Every opening time, price, bus line and visa rule is checked against official sources, such as tourist boards, transport operators, museums and government travel advice, and every page shows when it was last updated.
- Before a page goes live it's reviewed for what's missing or wrong, the way a demanding local would read it.
- Comparisons give a straight answer. When it depends on the month or on what you want, they say so, and say on what.
- Photos are free to use and credited to their authors. No paid placements.

Choose.place is made by Nikola, in Serbia. He writes and edits the travel guides, the stories and the comparisons, and builds the games. Questions, corrections and tips from people who know a place well are always welcome on the contact page.
